David Steiner and Gregg Roden to Deliver Keynote Talks at ACT Expo
Waste Management president and CEO David Steiner has been added to the speaker line-up at ACT Expo 2015, which takes place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas May 4-7.
Steiner, who is to deliver the conference keynote address on Wednesday, May 6, joins Frito-Lay North America productivity and sustainability senior VP Gregg Roden, who is the keynoter for Tuesday, May 5.
Steiner and Roden represent companies that are among the world’s largest fleet operators at the forefront of alternative fuel vehicle deployment and infrastructure development, notes ACT Expo organizer (and Fleets & Fuels publisher) Gladstein, Neandross & Associates.
Vehicles and Infrastructure
Waste Management operates the largest fleet of heavy-duty trucks in North America. Steiner will discuss the company’s continued leadership role in investing in alternative fuels for vehicles and related infrastructure.
GNA notes that Frito-Lay operates an AFV fleet of nearly 300 electric trucks, 200-plus CNG/compressed natural gas trucks, more than 650 hybrids and a growing number of propane autogas and biodiesel vehicles. Roden is to tell why the $13 billion division of PepsiCo is set on becoming the most fuel-efficient fleet in the country.
This Is the Big One
GNA expects more than 3,500 people to attend 2015’s Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo. ACT Expo 2015 has upwards of 225 exhibitors and sponsors, and will feature four days of educational conference sessions, three optional tours on Thursday, May 7, and catered networking events.
