More Proterra Buses for King County

Seattle Agency Is to Buy 120 All-Battery Buses by 2020,
And as Many as 73 will be Proterra Buses, County Says

Seattle’s King County Metro Transit said today that it will purchase 120 all-electric battery buses by 2020. “As part of this commitment, Metro will purchase up to 73 battery buses from Burlingame, Calif.-based Proterra,” states a county release. Eight 40-foot Proterra buses are to be deployed this year and 12 more in 2019.
