Renovated Automotive Museum to Have New Alt Fuels Section
Landi Renzo is sponsoring an Alternative Fuels gallery in the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. The museum is undergoing renovation and is to re-open in December.
The gallery “will feature a variety of past, present and future alternative energy technologies ranging from natural gas, propane, electrification, hydrogen fuel cell and more,” Landi says.
“Landi Renzo’s pedigree in engineering alternative fuel technology spans over 60 years across the globe,” the company says. Support of the new gallery “is a natural fit for Landi Renzo, mirroring our own values and vision for the future of the technology, while paying tribute to the past.”
The museum also named BMW, Ford, Lucas Oil, and Maserati as sponsors.
“The New Petersen will meld the art and engineering of history’s fastest and most beautiful automobiles with cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality and realistic simulators to redefine the 21st century museum experience,” states a release.
Petersen management has promised to “seamlessly blend cutting-edge interactive technology with rare and historically significant vehicles.”
