‘An Absolutely Full House of Vehicles & Equipment’
ACT Expo 2013, the Alternative Clean Transportation Conference & Exhibition, gets underway in just two weeks. ACT Expo 2013 runs June 24-27 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Embassy Suites in Washington D.C.
“We’ve got an absolutely full house of vehicles and equipment,” says Erik Neandross, CEO at Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, the ACT Expo organizer.
“This is the real world, literally where the rubber meets the road,” Neandross says.
The Expo Hall for ACT Expo 2013 is sold out. One standout Fleets & Fuels learned about just this morning: a firm well known in aerospace will unveil a line of Type III compressed natural gas fuel cylinders – and will detail plans for Type IV tanks as well. Propane vehicles and EVSE will be on show too, as will biofuels.
The 100,000-square-foot, free-to-all Expo Hall dates are June 26-27.
June 24 will see celebration of the 20th anniversary of the U.S. DoE Clean Cities organization.
One Fleet Needs 180,000 Vehicles
Thinking of leaving the conference early? You might want to stick around for the closing sessions late Thursday morning, June 27. At one of them, we expect to hear about one alt fuel-committed fleet’s plans to buy 180,000 vehicles over the next five years.
Also just in: two executives from ACT Expo platinum sponsor Ryder System – supply management VP Scott Perry and alternative fuels and finance senior manager Chris Nordh – will take part in the Fleet Perspective: Critical Issues for the Road Ahead session early on June 27.
ACT Expo conference registrations are deeply discounted for fleet professionals, and discounted for all until June 21.
The Propane Education & Research Council and America’s Natural Gas Alliance are presenting sponsors of ACT Expo 2013.
Fleets & Fuels ShowTimes will be there too, with two live issues by CTN Publishing, for the Expo Hall days, June 26-27.
