Clean Cities Meeting Coincides with NAFTC’s National Odyssey Day
California’s Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition is hosting its North American Green Fleet Forum & Green Fleet Expo next month at the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento. The events include alt fuels training presented by NAFTC, West Virginia University’s National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium, and visits to several natural gas vehicle fueling facilities.
The Clean Cities event takes place October 15-16. It immediately precedes NAFTC’s biennial National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey, which takes place around the U.S. – at more than 100 locations including Sacramento – on Friday, October 17 (F&F, August 27).
The October 16 emphasis is the Sacramento Clean Cities 5th Annual Clean Technology Forum, with displays of vehicles, equipment and technologies and presentations on over $400 million in grants and funding, infrastructure opportunities “and the technologies available now and what you will see in showrooms over the next decade.”
The tours cover compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, and biomethane produced from local food waste.
The events are free but registration is required.
