Organizer GNA Is Joined by Daimler Trucks N.A. & Penton Trucking,
$375 Fleet Savings Until Feb. 24 as Registration Opens for May Event
Organizers of this May’s Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo have signed Penton Trucking as a partner and Daimler Trucks North America as a presenting sponsor of the 2017 edition of “the largest clean fleet event.”
DTNA is the parent company of Freightliner, FCCC/Freightliner Customer Chassis Corp, Thomas Built Buses and Detroit Diesel.
Penton Trucking is the publisher of Fleet Owner and numerous other transportation information resources, including Bulk Transporter and WardsAuto. They help connect manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, and technology developers with commercial truck fleets, owner-operators, professional drivers, and aftermarket service decision makers.
The ACT Expo series is organized by Fleets & Fuels publisher GNA – Gladstein, Neandross & Associates. The Penton-GNA partnership “will further grow the annual ACT Expo, the industry’s largest gathering of commercial fleets and clean transportation technologies,” GNA says.
‘All Vehicle Segments’
“By working with ACT Expo, we can support each other’s mission to connect manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, and technology developers with commercial fleets,” said Penton Trucking managing director Reggie Lawrence,” as the transportation industry sees an increased focus on efficiency, fuel cost savings, and environmental performance across all vehicle segments.”
“This partnership will help to further promote the increasing array of commercially available and rapidly developing technologies for sustainable fleet operations, including ultra-efficient and low emission vehicles, connected and autonomous platforms, electric drive systems, renewable fuels and others,” said GNA CEO Erik Neandross.
‘Pushing the Envelope’
“Additionally, having DTNA, a truck maker that consistently leads the industry with innovative products and services, join the show as a presenting sponsor, further signals that the advanced technology market for the heavy-duty space is stronger than ever.”
GNA notes that Daimler Trucks North America is returning to ACT Expo for a seventh straight year and continues to increase its support and presence at the show.
“DTNA is known for pushing the envelope when it comes to performance and efficiency, aligning with ACT Expo’s mission to provide a one-stop-shop for the transportation industry to come together to drive momentum for cutting-edge technologies and to hear from industry and government stakeholders about where the market is going tomorrow,” GNA says.
ACT Expo 2017 takes place May 1-4 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif. The ACT Expo exhibition floor will be open May 2-3.
Registration for ACT Expo 2017 is now open, discounted by $325 for fleets and $550 for general registrations until February 25.
