Abstracts for September’s tcbiomass2013 Are Due March 15
The Illinois-based Gas Technology Institute is looking for technical papers for tcbiomass2013, the Third International Conference on Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass, slated for September 3-6 at the downtown Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. Abstracts are due March 15.
“The use of biomass as a renewable and sustainable fuel is becoming a reality as industry experts move advanced biofuels along the path to commercialization – and the world toward a cleaner, more diverse, and affordable energy future,” GTA says.
“The thermochemical conversion process will continue to be critical for maximizing the production of heat, power, and fuels from biomass resources. Participants attending tcbiomass2013 will be at the center of international collaboration, learning about the latest research, development, and deployment results for thermal biomass conversion technologies and systems.
“tcbiomass2013,” says the organization, “will bring together the world’s experts in biomass gasification, pretreatment, pyrolysis, and upgrading…
“This conference is all about the technology, and will host the world’s leading researchers, scientists and engineers during three days of peer-reviewed scientific presentations and posters on their latest developments.”
GTI says that the 2011 event was attended by more than 360 attendees from 24 countries and 185 organizations.
