‘Major & Compelling Benefits as a GHG Reduction Strategy’
Southern California Gas is hosting a webinar on renewable natural gas as a transportation fuel. The event next week will allow participants to explore the role that RNG, which can be made from a variety of organics feedstocks, can play as an emerging transportation fuel to help California achieve its long-term climate and air quality goals.
“RNG’s displacement of petroleum fuels in the transportation sector offers major and compelling benefits as a GHG reduction strategy and can help meet the state’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard,” says a bulletin from the webinar organizer (and Fleets & Fuels publisher) GNA – Gladstein, Neandross & Associates.
SeaHold and Harvest Power
The SoCalGas RNG webinar will include details about the latest RNG projects in California and the fuel’s potential for substantial cost savings and emissions reductions.
Senior/managing partner Tom Hintz of SeaHold LLC and Senior Harvest Power senior project developer Wayne Bishop will conduct the hour and half-long session beginning at 1pm on November 20.
