Santa Ana-based Greenkraft is looking for California dealers to handle its line of Class 3-7 dedicated-compressed natural gas cab-forward trucks.
Greenkraft is looking for dealers for its Class 3-6 dedicated-CNG trucks based on chassis from JAC, China’s Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Company.
The firm already has a dozen prospects, says sales manager Frank Ziegler.
Greenkraft has secured California Air Resources Certification of the vehicles, and notes that they are eligible for buy-down incentives of as much as $15,000.
Greenkraft’s trucks are based on chassis from JAC, China’s Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Company. JAC ships gliders to California, where Greenkraft installs 6.0-liter GM engines. GreenKraft uses regulators from ITT Conoflow, and injectors from Bosch. It installs CNG fuel cylinders according to customer specification – with no mark-up on the tanks, Ziegler says.
Greenkraft affiliate California Environmental Engineering handles emission testing and certification on Greenkraft’s products.
