Organizers of NGV Global 2012, the world natural gas vehicles meeting now slated for Mexico City November 6-10, have issued a Call for Papers.
Abstracts are due May 18.
NGV Global 2012 will be held at the Banamex Center in Mexico City, with technical sessions November 7-9. The exhibition hall will be open November 8-10.
The meeting is being organized and hosted by NGV Global with the key support of the NGV Communications Group, publishers of the international NGV Journal, aka The GVR (Gas Vehicles Report).
“It is the year’s premier event for the natural gas vehicle industry worldwide,” NGV Global says, “and will showcase the latest developments with information on policies, strategies, technologies, challenges and opportunities relevant to the NGV industry.
“NGV Global 2012 will provide a forum for top business leaders, authorities, senior officials, engineers and experts to prepare and shape the global NGV industry for the remainder of this decade.”
“Conference sessions and panel discussions will take a critical look at the coming years for the industry, in particular, how the NGV industry must adapt in order to thrive and increase its role in the fast changing transport and energy environment.”
Session topics may include
• technology developments,
• vehicle availability trends,
• energy security,
• government policy,
• infrastructure initiatives to advance market development,
• marketing and business development,
• investment and financing,
• air quality and greenhouse considerations,
• emerging opportunities in the off-road and marine sectors, and
• industry standards and safety.
Abstracts will be judged on degree of their benefit to the NGV industry, originality, content and presentation quality, and qualifications and experience of the author/presenter.
