It’s GAS and Only GAS for BAF’s CNG Systems for Buses Now
Elkhart, Ind.-based Green Alternative Systems is talking up an exclusive installer agreement for compressed natural gas fuel systems from BAF Technologies.
“Under the terms of the agreement,” GAS says, “GAS and BAF will be the only upfitters permitted to install BAF engine kits for the transit and paratransit bus industry.”
BAF, a unit of Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ:CLNE) provides upfit systems for Ford vehicles, and holds Ford QVM and QCM certifications: Qualified Vehicle Modifier and Quality Calibrations Modifier.
“Green Alternative Systems is extremely excited to announce this partnership with BAF,” GAS general manager Sean Connolly said in a release. The two firms “have a common goal of providing safe, affordable, and reliable CNG upfits and this partnership drastically enhances our ability to do so,” he said.
In addition to BAF’s certified fuel systems, GAS uses Luxfer Type III cylinders, OMB electric valves, Sherex fuel fill receptacles and Swagelok tubes and fittings for its CNG conversions.
