Hosted by Sempra’s Southern California Gas in Downey
Sempra’s Southern California Gas is hosting a Light Duty Natural Gas Vehicles Seminar at the firm’s Energy Resource Center in Downey on September 25.
“The time is right for major growth in the light-duty vehicle segment,” the utility says, noting that the switch from diesel to natural gas by heavy duty vehicle fleets has spurred an extensive network of fueling stations in Southern California – and that the price difference between compressed natural gas and gasoline is at an all-time high.
“This conference is unique in that it will provide a dedicated forum for light-duty CNG vehicle suppliers, operators, and potential customers,” SoCal Gas says. The latest light-duty CNG vehicles from the OEMs will be available to drive, factory representatives will be on hand, and there will be information about aftermarket conversions and fueling options – including home fueling appliances.
“Plus, get an understanding of the latest regulatory policies and funding developments and hear from real customers about how light-duty CNG vehicles worked for them.”
In addition to SoCal Gas, exhibitors will include American Honda, ANGI Energy, Chrysler, the City of Culver City, Edmunds.com, Ford, Galileo, General Motors, Go Natural CNG, Impco, Integrys/Trillium CNG, LandiRenzo/Baytech, Mansfield Oil/BRC FuelMaker, and Westport LD.
Lunch will be served! – but pre-registration for Seminar #27459 is required. The meeting gets underway at 8:30am with check-in starting at 8:00am.
Approximately 170 had registered as of the close of business on September 17.
