Michigan’s Venchurs Vehicle Systems, a converter of Ford pickups to compressed natural gas, reports a new ship-thru facility in Louisville, Ky. in partnership with Monroe Truck.

Michigan-based Venchurs is talking up a new ship-thru facility for CNG vehicles in Louisville, Ky., in partnership with Monroe Truck.

Venchurs is a Ford QVM – Qualified Vehicle Modifier – for both dedicated-CNG and CNG-gasoline bi-fuel upfits.

“Our conversions are already backed by the factory warranty and now the ordering process is seamless,” Venchurs CEO Jeff Wyatt said in a Tuesday release.

With ship-thru installation, Venchurs explains, “when an order is placed, trucks are pulled from the Ford assembly line in Louisville. Venchurs then completes the CNG conversion and the truck re-enters the Ford system for direct delivery to dealerships and customers.”

Venchurs also offers a drop-ship option, in which case the converted truck is sent directly to the customer.

Venchurs has an upfit facility in Adrian, Mich. too, and is promoting a short-term loaner program so potential customers “can put the converted trucks to the test.”
