Lincoln Shows 13,250 Cubic Meter Unit in Mexico

Lincoln Composites showed an even bigger version of its big lightweight tube trailer for compressed natural gas at the NGV Global 2012 meeting in Mexico last week, unveiling the Titan 5 Magnum with extra Type IV CNG tanks making for a cargo capacity of 13,250 cubic meters of CNG at 3,600 psi.

Either way you look at it, it’s indeed a Titan. David Perry photos

The standard Titan holds 10,000 cubic meters.

The Titan 5 Magnum can thus transport some 468,000 standard cubic feet of natural gas while the original, four-tube Titan trailer can carry 353,000 scf. Titan 5 Magnum water volume is 44,200 liters as compared with 34,000 liters for the standard Titan.
