More Ford Certifications Expected for 2013, Including Vans
Landi Renzo USA reports U.S. EPA certification of its bi-fuel compressed natural gas-gasoline upfits of F-250 and F-350 Ford pickups for 2013.
The EPA Certificate of Conformity covers two- and four-wheel-drive F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickup variants in multiple cab configurations, Landi Renzo says. The Torrance, Calif.-based firm is a Ford QVM – Qualified Vehicle Modifier.
Landi Renzo USA is a unit of Italy’s Landi Renzo SpA, world leader in gaseous fuel systems for light duty vehicles.
“Continuing on with a tradition of quality products available from Landi Renzo, the F-250/350 bi-fuel CNG system has been developed by some of the world’s leading alternative fuel engineers and is available exclusively through Landi Renzo USA’s ship-thru partnerships and certified installation network,” the company says.
Landi says that its further plans for Fords this year include certification of CNG kits for E-Series Econoline vans and F-450, F-550 and F-650 Super Duty Trucks.
