Lehigh Gas Opens in Allentown, Near Philadelphia

Lehigh Gas has opened the first retail CNG fueling station in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, in Allentown, north of Philadelphia.

The compressed natural gas station was build by Jones & Frank and uses gas from UGI Utilities, says Lehigh Gas alternative fuels manager Sil Lutkewitte.

Pennsylvania’s SWS – Sustainable Waste Solutions – is a key customer, Lutkewitte told F&F. Other interested fleets include the Lehigh Valley Health Network and City Center Wholesale.
