Needs Strategic Plan for Converting, Proposals Due July 30
Dane County, Wisc. wants help devising a strategic plan for converting its vehicle fleet to compressed natural gas, and will accept consultants’ proposals until the end of the month.
The Dane County goal is to convert all or nearly all of its fleet of approximately 550 vehicles to CNG within ten years.
The county currently has two dozen CNG vehicles deployed in seven departments. The area is also experienced with biomethane, with a Cornerstone BioCNG unit operating since 2011, more recently expanded with an ANGI Systems installation.
Proposals under the County of Dane’s RFP 113075 are due July 30.
