The new Cadillacs were unveiled during the National Clean Energy Summit at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino this week. They will serve customers at MGM’s Aria Resort & Casino and Bellagio Resort & Casino.

“Environmental responsibility is a core component of our culture,”  MGM Resorts International Chairman & CEO Jim Murren said in a release.

AGA Systens for Escalade Engines

The Escalades have GM’s 6.2-liter V-8 engines with natural gas fuel equipment from Utah’s AGA Systems, says World CNG president and CEO Garrett Alpers. His firm used Type IV all-composite CNG cylinders from Hexagon Lincoln in a World CNG-designed assembly.

‘Honored’

The MGM limos have three CNG tanks each, able to hold 15 gasoline gallon equivalents. The tanks are integrated into the stretched limousine chassis using an FMVSS-approved, crash-tested design spec.

“We’re honored to have provided these unique CNG conversions,” Alpers says in the MGM release.
