Three South Carolina Cities at the End of October
DoE’s Clean Cities organization and the Palmetto State (South Carolina) Clean Fuels Coalition are preparing to host the 2013 Carolina Alternative Fueled Vehicle Roadshow to promote propane, natural gas, electric and biofuel vehicles via three-hour events in three cities October 28-30. fully updated with current dates on September 17 and with new graphic on September 29
The goal is to inform public and private sector fleet and city managers of the benefits of clean, domestic fuels that are replacing gasoline and diesel.
Cars and trucks that run on propane, electricity, biofuels and natural gas will be on display. The events will also include presentations by manufacturers and suppliers of alternative fuels and equipment.
The Roadshow takes place in
- Greenville, S.C. – October 22;
- Columbia, S.C. – October 29.
- Charleston, S.C. – October 30.
“Each fuel option is analyzed in detail from the fleet perspective, looking at the existing infrastructure, safety considerations, clean air benefits and dramatic reduction in operating costs,” states a release.
School and public transportation buses, municipal, police and utility trucks and cars, both factory and aftermarket, will be includes, along with information on financing.
The Carolina Alt Fuel Roadshow is being organized by Atlanta-based AdVentures.
