SSP Affiliate Talks Up 30,000 Square Feet in Twinsburg
AFV Natural Gas Fuel Systems, a provider of tube and hose assemblies for NGV fuel systems, says it’s “moving into a larger facility to keep up with rapid growth.”
AFV is taking over a 30,000-square-foot space in Twinsburg, Ohio close to its affiliate SSP.
“In addition to more than quadrupling the manufacturing floor space, we have expanded our product engineering capacity and added personnel to improve our supply chain, inventory, and kitting performance,” sales director Mark Hurt says in a release.
AFV Is Hiring Too
“Likewise, AFV has worked to enhance our manufacturing & business processes and we are presently looking to add to our sales staff,” he said.
AFV’s notes that its fuel line equipment is a critical part of the compressed natural vas vehicles supply chain.
“Today’s automotive engineers are looking for experienced partners with proven quality systems and history,” said GM Kevin Dickey. “Original equipment manufacturers, converters and upfitters alike require a company that is familiar with the certification and manufacturing requirements of CNG fueled vehicles.”
AFV says it maintains repeatable, consistent product manufacturing and quality to comply with ISO and TS16949 requirements.
AFV claims customers including Altech-Eco, AM General, BAF, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Impco, Kenworth, New Flyer, Palmer Trucks, Roush, and Westport.
