More Than 100 Exhibitors for Largest U.S. All-NGV Show
NGVAmerica’s annual show, with a new format aimed not so much at potential customers but at natural gas vehicle and NGV equipment and service providers, is less than three weeks away.
The 2013 North American NGV Conference & Expo takes place November 18-21 at GWCC, the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Natural Gas: Transportation Fuel for a Better Bottom Line is the meeting theme.
With 112 exhibitors and sponsors, the meeting will be the largest in North America focusing exclusively on NGVs, says NGVAmerica’s Stephe Yborra.
“This is the largest gathering of vendors and service providers in the natural gas vehicles industry in more than a decade,” he told F&F. “We are pushing 500 registrations three weeks out.”
NGVAmerica has arranged November 18 technical tours of the renewable natural gas facility at the DeKalb County Landfill with a return stop at a Clean Energy Fuels LNG station, of a public access CNG station run by MARTA, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, and of the Blu LNG fueling station serving FedEx Ground, including a stop at the Clean Energy CNG station on Edison Road.
Monday will also see an NGVAmerica board meeting provided over by association chairman Doug Clark, now with Tenaska NG Fuels (F&F, October 4), while Tuesday’s plenary session will feature opening remarks by the new NGVAmerica chairman, Ron Eickelman of Agility Fuel Systems.
An updated new draft agenda was posted Monday (direct PDF link).
The NGV Expo Hall is open Tuesday and Wednesday, November 19-20.
