More Than 109 Exhibitors for Largest U.S. All-NGV Show
NGVAmerica’s annual show, with a new format aimed not so much at potential customers but at natural gas vehicle and NGV equipment and service providers, is now less than two weeks away.
The 2013 North American NGV Conference & Expo takes place November 18-21 at GWCC, the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Natural Gas: Transportation Fuel for a Better Bottom Line is the meeting theme.
Tthe meeting will be the largest in North America focusing exclusively on NGVs, says NGVAmerica’s Stephe Yborra.
“This is the largest gathering of vendors and service providers in the natural gas vehicles industry in more than a decade,” he told F&F.
Scheduled speakers include
- Dennis Smith, National Director-U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Program;
- Hank Linginfelter, Executive Vice President of Distribution Operations-AGL Resources;
- Christopher McGill, Vice President of Policy and Analysis-American Gas Association;
- Jim Samuel, Principal-Capitol Integrity Group;
- Bill Graves, President-American Trucking Association;
- Mark Hazelwood, President-Pilot Flying J; and
- Dr. Dayne Boysen, Program Director-Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy/US Department of Energy.
“The 75,000 square-foot exposition hall will house 109+ exhibitors showing the latest in light, medium and heavy duty vehicle platforms, fuel station technology and service providers, and others involved in market development,” NGVAmerica said Tuesday. “Attendees will consist of fleet operators, policy makers and various NGV industry stakeholders.”
As previously reported (F&F, October 29), NGVAmerica has arranged November 18 technical tours of the renewable natural gas facility at the DeKalb County Landfill with a return stop at a Clean Energy Fuels LNG station, of a public access CNG station run by MARTA, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, and of the Blu LNG fueling station serving FedEx Ground, including a stop at the Clean Energy CNG station on Edison Road.
Monday will also see an NGVAmerica board meeting provided over by association chairman Doug Clark, now with Tenaska NG Fuels (F&F, October 4), while Tuesday’s plenary session will feature opening remarks by the new NGVAmerica chairman, Ron Eickelman of Agility Fuel Systems.
