Emphasis is on CNG, But EV Charging and Propane Too
The Colorado Energy Office is preparing a Request for Applications for partial funding of compressed natural gas fueling station equipment, and co-located EV charging and propane autogas stations, to be issued within the next several weeks.
Applicants under the CMAQ-funded Alt Fuels Colorado program will be given 30 days to respond to the RFA, says CEO’s Wes Maurer, with award offers to be announced in late June or early July.
The Denver-based Regional Air Quality Council is administering a later vehicle portion of the program. The RAQC plans to hold a grant workshop for partial funding of public and private alternative-fueled fleet vehicles in late summer, with an official application form to be released shortly thereafter.
