U.S. EPA Nod Covers GM 2014 and 2015 Model Year Vehicles
Kaysville, Utah-based AGA Systems reports full U.S. EPA certification for compressed natural gas-gasoline bi-fuel conversions of vehicles with the 5.3-liter General Motors direct injection engine, for both the 2014 and 2015 model years.
AGA Systems describes its DuraDrive DI system as a completely redesigned offering “using Tier 1 OEM tested components engineered to accommodate the unique operating characteristics of the direct injection engine.”
DuraDrive DI upfits are available for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Silverado 1500 pickup trucks, and for 2015 Silverado/Sierra pickup trucks – and GM’s SUV family including the Tahoe/Suburban and Yukon/Yukon XL, the company says.
AGA Systems also recently certified bi-fuel conversions of Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain compact SUVs with 2.4-liter direct injection engine for 2014.
