Truck ’N Travel Opens State’s First Public Access Station
Truck ’N Travel’s TravelCard division is claiming the first public access compressed natural gas fueling station in Oregon, located on Seneca Road in Eugene.
The investment was approximately $500,000.
“Our family feels strongly in investing in an energy future that is better for our environment,” proprietor John Anderson said in a release. “My daughter, nieces, nephews and are going to be the generation where CNG is as common as traditional gasoline is today.”
Anderson’s family owns Eugene Truck Haven, operator of the new TravelCard CNG station.
“We purchased an existing facility [with IMW compressor] and moved it to Eugene,” Anderson told F&F. “We assembled it ourselves.”
