New York State Firms Finalize Equipment Distributor Agreement
Saratoga Springs-based American Natural Gas and Buffalo’s Cobey Energy have agreed for ANG to offer Cobey equipment in its compressed natural gas fueling stations, with exclusivity within New York State.
“Streamlining our equipment procurement process will allow ANG to be extremely efficient when continuing our station roll-out strategy,” ANG founder and CEO Drew West said in a release, citing “a variety of high-performance equipment options from a New York-based equipment packager.”
ANG customers “will benefit from our collaborative CNG system design approach,” said Cobey Energy CNG product manager Craig Jackson.
ANG designs, builds, owns, operates and maintains natural gas fueling stations for transportation, “making natural gas readily available for commercial and public use in vehicles.”
Cobey packages gas compression systems, including GE, Cameron and Dresser-Rand designs. The Cobey Energy product line includes CNG priority fill panels, ASME storage spheres, gas dryers, dispensers and card readers (F&F, April 29).
