Reports Capacity for 600 CNG Fuel Systems Per Month
dHybrid Systems has opened a new manufacturing and assembly facility in Salt Lake City – and says it can produce more than 600 compressed natural gas fuel cylinder arrays per month running a single shift at the 50,000-square-foot facility.
The second facility for dHybrid will “move our company to the next level,” CEO Brian Pettersen said in a release.
“This new facility helps eliminate the shipping logistics we use used to encounter,” said OEM account manager Trevor Milton.
“Our goal of having our systems delivered before your trucks are built is quickly becoming achievable,” Milton said.
dHybrid launched its line of back-of-cab CNG cylinder assemblies at ACT Expo 2014 in Long Beach, Calif. this past May (F&F, April 15).
The firm promotes rail-mounted and refuse truck-top-of-body CNG fuel systems too.
