$800,000 Available for Improved CNG Infrastructure
Including Truly Full Fills and Reduced Methane Losses
The California Energy Commission has floated a solicitation aimed at reducing the costs of building and maintaining the infrastructure compressed natural gas vehicle fueling, and increasing station efficiency “for fueling to a true full fill capacity.”
Proposals Due November 26
“Applicants are encouraged to develop advanced technologies that provide economic benefits and improvements in capturing fugitive methane emissions from fueling and storage systems.”
The agency is making $800,000 available under Program Opportunity Notice/PON-14-502. A pre-Application Workshop will be held at CEC headquarters in Sacramento on the afternoon of October 21.
Written questions will be accepted until November 3 and proposals are due November 26.
