Questar Opens Dallas CNG Station

Will Support Frito-Lay and Other Area Fleets

Utah-based Questar Fueling has opened a public-access compressed natural gas station in Dallas to provide fast fills for natural gas vehicles operated by Frito-Lay and other fleet operators with medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

The new Questar Fueling CNG station in Dallas is the company’s third in Texas, joining Houston and DeSoto.

The new Dallas CNG station offers six high-speed fueling lanes for large trucks, and provides CNG for consumer NGVs as well.

The Dallas facility is Questar’s third CNG station in Texas. The others are in Houston and DeSoto, just south of Dallas.

All Told, Some Three Dozen Questar Stations

Questar notes that it “recently opened two stations in Kansas and, over the next 12 months, expects to open other stations along major U.S. transportation corridors in California, Connecticut, Nevada, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois and Georgia.”

Along with a regulated affiliate, Questar currently owns and operates about three dozen CNG stations in Utah, Wyoming, Kansas and Texas.
