Fleet Ordering Has Opened for 2015’s Dedicated-CNG Sedan
American Honda fleet sales personnel have begun taking orders for the automaker’s 100% factory-built dedicated-CNG 2015 Civic Natural Gas sedan. The 2015 Civic Natural Gas goes on public sale at Honda dealers in 37 states on November 19.
The vehicle has a 1.8-liter four-cylinder, aluminum engine with multi-point fuel injection and five-speed automatic transmission. A single compressed natural gas cylinder holds 8 GGEs/gasoline gallon equivalents of fuel. The carbon fiber on aluminum Type III cylinders are supplied by Worthington, formerly SCI.
EPA figures are conservative, but users report single-tank range of up to 300 miles on the highway.
The 2015 Civic Natural Gas has a starting MSRP of $26,740. A leather and satellite-navigation package takes the price to $29,390.
Made in America

Prices for the gasoline-fueled Honda Civic for 2015 begin at $18,490.
