Largest Natural Gas Vehicle Event of the Year Expected

NGVAmerica is accepting nominations for the 22nd Annual NGV Achievement Awards until September 10.

NGVAmerica’s annual gala, co-hosted with the Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance, takes place next week in Kansas City.

NGVAmerica promises a comprehensive educational program, a 90,000-square-foot trade show, an NGV ride-and-drive, two off-site tours of nearby fueling facilities, and numerous social functions.

“We look forward to bringing together the industry’s most influential advocates, allies and decision makers in this great city to work towards creating an even greater market for vehicles powered by clean and abundant domestically produced natural gas,” incoming NGVAmerica president Matthew Godlewski said in a release.

‘Vehicles from Across the Spectrum’

Two plenary sessions and 20 informative breakout sessions have been designed around practical tips and experiences. More than 85 speakers are expected.

The expo hall will include CNG/compressed natural gas and LNG/liquefied natural gas fuel providers, station developers, equipment and component suppliers, design consultants, “and vehicles from across the spectrum, from sedans to work trucks to Class 8 trucks.”

NGVAmerica developed the Kansas City agenda in concert with more than 20 supporting organizations, reaching out to “fleets of all types and sizes” and offering special registration discounts.
