Certification for 2.5-Liter 2014 and 2015 Bi-Fuel Vehicles
Ohio’s NatGasCar reports U.S. EPA certification of its CNG-gasoline bi-fuel Ford Transit Connect vehicles with the 2.5-liter engine for 2014 and 2015. The company says it’s handing vehicle conversions and parts sales from a new 50,000-square-foot facility at the Cleveland Industrial Innovation Center.
Additional U.S. sales and installations are supported through a certified installers program. NatGasCar promises “a turnkey CNG solution for this vehicle platform and other EPA certified OEM platforms, with forthcoming EPA certifications to cover the Ford F-150 pickup with 5.0-liter engine “with multiple cab and bed designs.”
“Our goal is to support the long-term maximization of customer value through the consistent development of compressed natural gas systems while utilizing the latest available technology and CNG related components,” the company says.
