‘A Tremendous Opportunity to Utilize Natural Gas in Transportation’
Clean Energy Fuels opened its newest public access compressed natural gas fueling station at Florida’s Orlando International Airport. It’s open 24/7 “and can accommodate a variety of natural gas vehicles ranging in size from passenger cars and airport support vehicles to heavy-duty trucks.”
“With over 57 million tourists annually, Orlando is one of the most important tourist destinations in the United States,” Clean Energy VP Mark Riley said in a release.
“There is a tremendous opportunity to utilize natural gas in transportation to cut emissions, improving air quality throughout the region,” he said.
Clean Energy has a 20-year lease agreement with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for the station, which complements a public-access CNG facility at Tampa International.
