On offer now are compressed natural gas-fueled aerodynamic Mack Pinnacle daycabs. Natural gas-fueled TerraPro COE/cab-over-engine vehicles could come later.

“Right now it’s CNG,” says sales director Tom Davis, but LNG/liquefied natural gas- and DME/dimethyl ether-fueled vehicles are possibilities too.

“There is interest in all three,” he told F&F.

Mack Defense handles truck sales to the U.S. military, but also to such non-military federal operators as the Department of the Interior and DoI’s Fish & Wildlife Service, Davis says.

The Mack Pinnacle for GSA is designated Standard Item 524.
