ANGI-Powered Facility East of Orlando for Florida City Gas
Can Be Made Available for Public Access if Demand Warrants
Fort Lauderdale-based Patriot CNG has broken ground on a new compressed natural gas fueling station for Florida City Gas in Rockledge, on the Atlantic coast east of Orlando. The new station will be built at FCG’s Brevard County service facility initially to support company fleet vehicles.
GL will have 48 CNG vehicles in service by 2017, Patriot says.
“The new station will be designed with the public in mind,” FCG general manager and VP Carolyn Bermudez says in a Patriot release. “Not only will it be able to accommodate our CNG fleet, but the facility also will serve the public if enough interest is generated,” she said.
“The demand for natural gas is growing, and Florida City Gas is prepared to meet the needs of its customers.”
The four-lane facility will have NG 300ES compressors from ANGI Systems, Patriot partner Carter Redd told F&F.
Florida City Gas is a unit of Atlanta-based AGL Resources, Inc.
