NGVs in Denver Sept 14-17 and AltCar in Santa Monica Sept 18-19
Break out your carry-on as key alternative fuel vehicles meetings take place in the middle of September in Colorado and California.
NGVAmerica and partners including NGV Global are gearing up for the 2015 North American Natural Gas Vehicle Conference & Expo September 15-17 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
“This year’s event will be bigger and bolder,” organizers said today, “featuring more fleet operators, more expo booths, increased networking opportunities, in-depth case studies and technology updates.”
The NGVAmerica meeting will be preceded by an invitation-only MOVE Program Review September 14-15 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown. MOVE is the Methane Opportunities for Vehicular Energy initiative overseen by ARPA-E, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy.
Later that same week, the Tenth Anniversary AltCar Expo takes place September 18-19 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, Calif.
“The past ten years has seen an explosion across the board in alternative technology vehicles for fleets and consumers and the infrastructure has grown exponentially,” states an AltCar Expo release.
“Today there are more alternative vehicle choices than ever before, but the goal of AltCar is the same: to provide a very accessible and comprehensive setting where both industry and general public can discover existing alternatives to the way they use energy and transportation and motivate everyone to take further action.”
AltCar Expo includes NAFA Fleet Management Association programming on Friday, September 19, and a free public ride-and-drive on Saturday, September 20.
