California Trucking Association and Southern California Gas
The California Trucking Association and Southern California Gas are hosting a free webinar on the future of clean trucking and how compressed natural gas operations can help meet long-term compliance goals and business objectives.
The complimentary Clean Transportation for California: Natural Gas for Trucking webinar takes place on Wednesday, October 7 beginning at 11:00am Pacific / 2:00pm Eastern time.
“As California regulators work to reduce emissions, hundreds of fleets are turning to CNG operations to provide low-cost sustainability solutions,” organizers note.
“By participating in this webinar, you will learn about vehicle, fueling options, and resources to help you assess if CNG is right for your fleet.”
David Langrehr, senior VP of Fox Transportation and VP of the Harbor Truckers Association, will provide a real-world case study on implementing CNG operations, including actual fuel cost savings, maintenance experiences, and plans for future conversions.
Mike Bolin of SoCalGas, an account executive with the utility’s natural gas vehicle program, is responsible for market development in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. This territory has been among the fastest growing in terms of new NGV purchases and new CNG station development.
