‘Our Companies Have Brought Valuable Product Development’
Hexagon Composites reports that its Hexagon Bus Systems unit “has solidified its leading position in the European transit bus market with the nomination by MAN Truck & Bus AG for the continued supply of compressed natural gas fuel systems.”
Hexagon says it’s MAN’s Supplier of Choice, and that “this agreement would extend that for another ten years.”
“Our history, technology, and relationships with customers are what set us apart in the industry,” Hexagon CNG Automotive Products VP Chet Dawes said in a release.
Nebraska to Norway
“Since teaming up, our companies have brought valuable product development to the marketplace,” said Milosz Szymaniak, global sales manager of Hexagon Bus Systems. “We look forward to future innovations and success.”
The bus systems are built at the Hexagon Composites facility in Raufoss, Norway. They are fitted with CNG fuel cylinders manufactured in Lincoln, Neb.
