“The natural gas operation in Florida expands NFI’s natural gas footprint to the southeast,” states a release, which notes that NFI deployed its first natural gas trucks in Los Angeles in 2012 and operates natural gas vehicles in Pennsylvania and Texas as well.
NFI has five natural gas trucks in California, 17 in Texas, 13 in Pennsylvania and now 12 in Florida, a spokesman told F&F.
Gain Clean Fuel has opened a CNG station in Kissimmee (just south of Orlando) to support the Florida fleet.
