Federal Approval for F-650/750 and F-53/59 Is in Hand Too

Landi Renzo USA said today that it’s secured expected California Air Resources Board certification of its natural gas-fueled version of Ford’s 6.8-liter engine for model year 2016. The V-10 powers vehicles including F650/750 series and F-53/59 chassis trucks. Landi cited engine test group GFMXE06.8BW6.

The company reported U.S. EPA approval of the 6.8-liter engine last month (F&F, March 21).

“Continuing with a tradition of quality products available from Landi Renzo, our 6.8L V-10 heavy duty CNG system has been developed by some of the world’s leading alternative fuel engineers and is available exclusively through Landi Renzo USA’s ship-thru partnership’s and certified installation network,” states a release.

Landi Renzo products are distributed worldwide in more than 50 countries through 17 subsidiaries with more than 50 million conversion systems sold to date.
