‘Convergence in the NGV Industry’ Following Key Mergers
NGVAmerica has slated Agility Fuel Systems CEO Kathleen Ligocki and Westport Fuel Systems CEO Nancy Gougarty to head a panel discussion on “Convergence in the NGV Industry” at the organization’s September meeting in Colorado.
Agility has merged with Hexagon Lincoln for fuel cylinders and onboard fuel cylinder assemblies for natural gas vehicles, while Westport earlier this year completed a merger with Fuel Systems Solutions, Inc. FSSI brands include Impco and BRC/FuelMaker.
The 2016 NGVAmerica Annual Meeting and Industry Summit takes place September 7-9 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center. The Convergence session is set for the afternoon of Thursday, September 8. Trillium CNG, acquired this past year by Love’s, will also send a representative, NGVAmerica said yesterday.
What Customers Can Expect
“Agility, Westport, and Love’s all led groundbreaking mergers this year capitalizing on opportunities to grow quickly and prepare for future expansion of the NGV marketplace,” states an association announcement.
“Their leaders will discuss the new organizations and what customers and the overall marketplace can expect in the months ahead.
“The panel will contemplate other possible opportunities for convergence in the industry, the current sales market, and where product innovation is headed.”
Trillium CNG is a presenting sponsor of this year’s NGVAmerica meeting in Denver, as are Clean Energy Fuels and Penske Truck Leasing.
