The Order Book Opens Next Month with Ship-Thru from Kansas City,
Landi Is also Offering 50,000-Mile Warranties on All Its CNG Systems

Landi Renzo USA is announcing today a company (and industry) first: the Ford F-150 for model year 2018 on compressed natural gas with ship-thru via the Ford assembly plant in Kansas City.

Landi Renzo USA is branching to the Ford F-150 for the first time for its CNG upfits for the 2018 model year – and says it’s the first company to offer the latest truck via Ford dealers on a ship-thru basis.

Landi will be “will be offering many options, including multiple CNG tank configurations and other essential equipment used in fleet operations” for the popular truck with 5.0-liter engine.

“We’re confident that with our Ford ship-thru strategy out of Kansas City, Landi Renzo will have the most cost-competitive solution in the market,” Paul Shaffer, new executive VP for business development with Landi Renzo USA, says in a release.

Larger Ford Truck Ship-Thru via OHAP

Landi will start taking orders for the 2018 F-150, CNG fueled, in May, he says.

In addition to Kansas City, Landi has multiple ship-thru plans in place and will release details in the coming weeks. Already publicized is direct availability of heavier Ford trucks – CNG-equipped F450/550 or F650/750 vehicles – out of OHAP, Ford’s Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake.

‘The Most Comprehensive Warranty Package in the Industry’

Landi Renzo USA is also announcing today a new “industry-leading” warranty program – three years/50,000 miles (up from three/36,000) – on all of its CNG fueling systems. “Landi Renzo is now offering fleets the best warranty in the business,” Shaffer says.

“Plus,” he says, “as a leading Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier, the OEM warranty remains intact so fleets can rely on the most comprehensive warranty package in the industry.”
