Additional 225 EV Units Planned for California and Arizona

Ecotality is talking up an expanded partnership with the Kroger supermarket chain which calls for more than 200 Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations and 25 DC fast chargers to be installed in key market areas. The multi-million dollar expansion will bring the total number of Ecotality’s Blink brand chargers at Kroger stores to nearly 300.

The agreement includes a $1.5 million investment by Kroger to install Blink units, including 25 DC fast chargers, at 125 locations in key markets including Phoenix, San Diego and Los Angeles.

They come in addition to 60 already installed in Oregon and Washington, and 14 in Texas.
