AABC, EDTA, WEVS Are All Coming Up Soon – ACT Expo Too
The spring meeting season is getting into full swing and organizers of electric vehicles gatherings in Europe and the U.S. are stepping up promotion of their events.
Among the standouts,
- The UK’s Informa is hosting WEVS 2013, the second annual World Electric Vehicle Summit, May 14-15 at the Thon Hotel Arena in Oslo, Norway. The meeting includes Urban Fleet Integration Summit on May 16. Speakers from Amsterdam, Statoil and China’s BYD have been added to the program. Informa is offering discounts for fleet managers and for property and facility managers, and for all participants until April 12.
- The Electric Drive Transportation Association is spreading the word that discounts remain in effect until April 12 for the 2013 EDTA Conference & Annual Meeting, being held June 10-12, at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C. As with previous Electric Drive Transportation Association events, the exhibition side is being handled by Alexandria, Va.-based National Trade Productions.
- Northern California’s Advanced Automotive Batteries is hosting AABC Europe 2013, the fourth European Automotive Advanced Battery Conference, June 24-28 at Le Palais des Congrès, in Strasbourg, France. There is still time to sign up to exhibit, or to submit a poster presentation. AABC Europe 2013 registrations are discounted until May 3.
And, for those wishing to learn about electric vehicles in the context of other clean and increasingly economical transportation alternatives, Fleets & Fuels publisher Gladstein, Neandross & Associates (GNA) is hosting ACT Expo 2013 June 24-27 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Embassy Suites in Washington D.C.
ACT Expo registrations are discounted through April 30.
