Ecotality Supplying Workplace Chargers at 12 Locations
Texas Instruments will install 46 Blink Level 2 charging stations at 12 office locations throughout Texas, including nine at its corporate headquarters in Dallas, says Blink manufacturer Ecotality.
“TI offers a variety to ways to help employees find alternative, innovative commuting methods, especially in North Texas where our largest employee population resides,” TI sustainable development manager Paul Westbrook says in an Ecotality (NASDAQ:ECTY) release.
“Adding EV charging supports another commuting choice for our employees,” he said.
Workplace Chargers Help Spur EV Purchases
“We can’t predict the future, but we can certainly help shape it through actions like this,” Westbrook said. “Several TI employees bought or leased an electric vehicle shortly after we announced the EV charging station program.”
Blink Level 2 commercial charging stations feature an intuitive and interactive seven-inch touch screen that allows users to easily manage their electric vehicle charging experience, Ecotality says. The TI stations are part of Blink’s nationwide network.
