All Battery Electric Vehicle Manufacturer Signs on as a Presenting Sponsor
This year’s Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo continues to grow: the Electric Drive Transportation Association and ACT Expo 2015 organizer GNA today welcomed the Nissan Leaf organization as a presenting sponsor.
ACT Expo 2015 takes place May 4-7 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. It is organized by Fleets & Fuels publisher Gladstein, Neandross & Associates.
Nissan noted last month that it sold 30,200 Leaf cars in 2014 “which is the first time any plug-in has sold more than 30,000 units in a single year.”
Leaf Sales Are Strong
In December, Nissan sold Nissan sold 3,102 all-electric Leaf cars, “up 22.7% from the prior year and a December record.”
Nissan joins the Propane Education & Research Council as a presenting sponsor of ACT Expo. With the participation of EDTA, the Dallas even is expected to include more electric vehicles than ever before: the Electric Drive Zone in the Expo Hall will give attendees hands-on access to all manner of EVs: pure battery, fuel cell, rage-extended and hybrid, as well as battery technologies, charging infrastructure providers, and workplace and wireless charging solutions.
EDTA Programming at ACT Expo 2015
There will be four days of electric drive programming, and a two-part Accelerating Electric Drive Workshop presented by EDTA. Split between sessions on Wednesday May 6 and Thursday May 7, the Workshop will help attendees understand the current market for electric and hydrogen vehicles and infrastructure across all applications, and the future outlook for the electric drive sector.
Registration for the Expo Hall only is available now for just $50, and full conference registrations are discounted until March 13.
