‘A New Form of Electrifying Driving Pleasure,’ Automaker Says
BMW has announced a luxury electric vehicle with a single-charge range of 600 kilometers – 373 miles – and says that with the four-door i Vision Dynamics, it’s introducing “a new form of electrifying driving pleasure.”
BMW also vowed at the IAA Cars 2017 show in Frankfurt to offer 25 models with an electrified driveline by 2025.
The i Vision Dynamics boasts acceleration of 0-62 mph in just four seconds. Further, it “offers a look ahead to the e-mobility experience of the future with a new level of sporting elegance.”
“At the BMW Group, the future of electric mobility has already arrived,” company chair Harald Krüger said in a release. “We have more electrified vehicles on the road than any established competitor and are committed to expanding our activities in the field of electric mobility.”
“BMW i is a byword for visionary vehicles and a new understanding of premium mobility focused squarely on sustainability,” the company says.
