Rates Are Low and Coverage Broad in Washington in June
Organizers of the 2013 Alternative Clean Transportation Expo have released the conference agenda, promising a compelling program for transportation professionals looking to invest in alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies. Both vendors and fleet colleagues will discuss how best successfully navigate the transition to clean alternative fuels.
ACT Expo 2013 is being held June 24-27 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Embassy Suites in Washington D.C. The meeting is the third in the series organized by Santa Monica-based Gladstein, Neandross & Associates, and this year will include a 20th anniversary celebration of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program.
“Regardless of your application or duty cycle, learn about the wide range of solutions available to help you reduce your fuel costs and emissions,” GNA says. All alternative fuel types and advanced vehicle technologies will be represented – electric, hybrid, hydrogen, natural gas, propane autogas, renewable fuels, SmartWay technologies, and fleet management software systems.
GNA notes too that its conference is cost-competitive, “with rates at half the cost of many smaller industry conferences.” Value registration fees valid through April 30 include just $575 for the full conference – and $225 for fleets.
A Top-Flight Program
“ACT Expo is unrivaled in its ability to provide strong educational content to transportation professionals that are looking to make investments in alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies, GNA says. The agenda has been crafted over several months with ongoing input from a High-Volume Fleet Planning Committee, a Clean Cities Planning Committee, and alternative fuel industry associations.
Among the topics of interest:
- end-user case studies from leading fleets;
- latest OEM technologies and aftermarket solutions;
- rental, leasing, and employee program options;
- fueling infrastructure solutions of all sizes;
- fuel production, supply, and procurement strategies;
- forward fuel pricing projects and commodity markets;
- financial modeling to achieve positive ROIs;
- total cost of ownership case studies;
- industry trends and key market drivers in the years ahead; and
- public policy considerations.
