Big Washington Gathering Will Mark Clean Cities 20th Anniversary
ACT Expo 2013 will be in full swing just three weeks from now in Washington, with the assembled thousands celebrating the 20th anniversary of DoE’s Clean Cites program at America’s largest and pre-eminent alt fuels conclave.
Registrations are running hundreds ahead of last year’s pace three weeks out, leading to a realistic expectation of more than 3,000 attendees at ACT Expo this year.
The Alternative Clean Transportation conference and exhibition runs June 24-27 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and Embassy Suites in Washington D.C. ACT Expo is organized by Santa Monica, Calif.-based Gladstein, Neandross & Associates.
The free-to-all Expo Hall dates are June 26-27.
A Lead The Way propane autogas preview has just been slated for the afternoon of Monday, June 24 by the Propane Education & Research Council, an ACT Expo 2013 presenting sponsor.
The Clean Cities Annual Stakeholders Event also takes place on Monday, June 24.
Tom O’Brien, president and CEO of TravelCenters of America, has been named as luncheon keynote speaker on Tuesday, joining the previously announced David Abney of UPS, who’ll keynote Wednesday morning.
All of the Alternative Fuels
“All of the alt fuels, including electricity, have economic, environmental and technical momentum right now,” says Erik Neandross, GNA’s CEO.
“Can’t decide between CNG and propane? Wondering about biofuels? Do you understand why electric vehicles are good for the grid? Got an axe to grind or a case to make for any or all of the above?
“A product to sell?
“Don’t miss ACT Expo,” Neandross says.
Fleets & Fuels ShowTimes will be there too, with two live issues by CTN Publishing, for the Expo Hall days, June 26-27.
Visiting the 100,000-square-foot ACT Expo Hall (all exhibitor space is sold!) is free. ACT Expo conference registrations are deeply discounted for fleet professionals, and discounted for all until June 21.
In addition to PERC, America’s Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) is a presenting sponsor of ACT Expo 2013.
