First of a Series in Anticipation of October’s HHP Summit
Wyoming’s got the gas and it’s got the markets. If you’re interested in learning how the state is planning to use its natural gas to power its many mining, locomotive and energy exploration and production engines (not to mention over-the-road trucks), you’d do well to budget an hour for the first of series of High Horsepower Summit webinars hosted by Fleets & Fuels (and HHP Insight) publisher Gladstein, Neandross & Associates.
The Wyoming LNG Roadmap webinar takes place May 29 at 11:00am PDT/2:00 EDT. The one-hour event follows the May 12 release of GNA’s 122-page Wyoming LNG Roadmap report, a comprehensive analysis of the feasibility, potential, costs, and benefits of using liquefied natural gas as a supplement to diesel fuel in Wyoming’s high horsepower sectors.
The GNA report was commissioned under the leadership of Wyoming Governor Matt Mead, along with a coalition of private-sector businesses – all of whom would like to see LNG emerge as a mainstream fueling option in Wyoming and adjoining regions.
HHP Summit Preview
Rob Hurless, Governor Mead’s energy strategy advisor, will present at the seminar, along with GNA CEO Erik Neandross and principal Wyoming LNG Roadmap author Jon Leonard.
The May 29 webinar serves as a preview of the educational programming on offer at this coming autumn’s HHP Summit 2014. There, end-user case studies and natural gas technology initiatives from around the globe will be showcased.
The 2014 HHP Summit has been slated for October 7-9 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
